Let's Fly! Looking Back at Season 3 of Star Trek: Discovery

“In a very real sense, we are all aliens on a strange planet. We spend most of our lives reaching out and trying to communicate. If during our whole lifetime, we could reach out and really communicate with just two people, we are indeed very fortunate.” - Michael Burnham

In this special crossover episode of A Strange New Pod, the crew is joined by Marcie, Luis, and Rachel from the Disco Tech Podcast to review the recently concluded third season of Star Trek: Discovery.

This season of Star Trek: Discovery follows the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery as they travel to the future, over 900 years after the events of the original Star Trek series. There they search for the remnant of Starfleet and the cause of the mysterious Burn - a galaxy-wide disastrous event in which most dilithium mysteriously went inert, causing the detonation of every active warp core.

What were our favourite moments of the season? What didn't work? What did we think about the new characters? And how did the season overall fare?

Find out on A Strange New Pod.
