And on a rainy Sunday (at least here in Pennsylvania), Paramount has released not only the full trailer for the series, but 13 new images for us to examine, deep dive, and inevitable come up with some right and wrong predictions about Captain Pike and the voyages of the U.S.S. Enterprise.

The series certainly seems like it will hit all the marks: humor, exploration, action, and philosophy; all the things that you would want from a new Star Trek series featuring Captain Pike and Enterprise. After all, it's 60 years in the making.
