Discovery's Final Season Warps Onto Paramount+ This Thursday!
It feels like we've been talking about Star Trek Discovery's fifth season for the better part of two years. Now that it's finally here, the moment is certainly bittersweet. Knowing there are just ten more hours of this series before the lights turn off on the bridge for good brings up a lot of feelings. One is the absolute joy of going on one more journey with Michael and Co. That journey starts Thursday with "Red Directive" and "Under the Twin Moons."
"Red Directive"
Captain Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery are sent to retrieve a mysterious artifact hidden inside an 800-year-old Romulan vessel – but find that they’re not the only ones on the hunt. Meanwhile, Saru is offered the position of a lifetime.
"Red Directive" is written by Michelle Paradise and directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi.
"Under the Twin Moons"
On Saru’s last mission as Captain Burnham’s Number One, the team ventures to a seemingly abandoned planet to hunt for what might be the greatest treasure in the galaxy.
"Under the Twin Moons" is written by Alan McElroy and directed by Doug Aarniokoski.
